Hi Gang,
FROM MY GOOD FRIEND BRIAN JOHNSON
This is a very important post today that concerns a bug in the latest version of wordpress that may be …. blocking your wordpress sites from the search engines like Google..
You Need To Check Your WordPress privacy Settings in your Admin panel.
If you recently installed a new wordpress site MAKE SURE you login and check the
privacy settings. I could not believe it when I did just that today with my Blog to find that the setting was set to: Block the search engines like Google and technorati. UGH.. More updates coming soon … I wanted to get you this information ASAP.
All The best

Hello, I now became a part of this forum here and I would like to be a member of it. Just enjoy the environment here. Excellent work by the mods and every member around.
I like the quality of messages posted by memebers and plan I can do that for you all too. Just to start off, I found a cool website named
home based business reviews that reviews some cool make money home business opportunities. Anyway website owner make’s more than up to 15K USD month. He found some very great home business.
Because I found that these money making opportunities worked for me I decided to post it here so you also can make some extra money in your free time. Owner of this website also found really simple way get some extra money just taking surveys for money. Anyway if you need to make some extra cash feel free to check out this website. Hope you guys like it.
OK, look forward to great conversation and hanging out here often.

I’m just wondering if anyone has looked at this blog success review? people have said good things about the place, but it doesn’t seem to be that well known?
The person who did the report is also giving away a blog success bonus that seems fairly decent. Do you guys think it’s worth the money?
It would be great make money online from writing a blog, as it feels like a natural thing to do for my talents:)

Nice to be visiting your blog again. It has been weeks for me. Well, this is the article that I have been waited for. Being a business person I spend a majority of my ‘computing’ time in Outlook; communicating with peers, team members, customers. In order to organize email fast and with ease I use Email Sorter Wizard, an Outlook plugin to have time for more important tasks. Time is money – that old saying is now more true than ever. You can read about it here: http://www.emailsorterwizard.com/organize-email.php — P.S.: Have you heard of http://www.kiva.org yet? Microfinance: Kiva – Loans that change lives.
Thank you again and keep up your genuine work and much success in your business dealings!

Hello, how are you doing? I truly like ur blog! I am wondering if you can assist me (I am sure some other readers might also be curious). I want to get into writing a blog as well and I currently write a blog with wordpress, but it is very confusing for me to build and I would like to attempt to get several good training guides or courses (preferably ones that are free) that can assist me in making use of word press correctly. As a Word Press site owner yourself, do u maybe know where i can learn online tutorials to be able to do this? Thanks Alot!

Hi Steve,
Just one point to clear up and that it's not a WordPress bug that makes the privacy settings change but the way it's uploaded. If you create or update your blog via Cpanel then this will be your problem, with the new version of wordpress it gives you the privacy options as you upload but when using cpanel it misses this part out and it's set to block by default. So nothing to worry about if you don't create your wordpress blogs via cpanel. If you do it's well worth checking as you said. All the best,
Andy Lawrence

If only I had come to this page earlier. The irony is you can only come to this page from Google (like I just did) when you have faced the worst case scenario.
For the past few months, my company website was appearing no where in the search engines. In fact all the crap links from crap folders had been indexing perfectly. This really got me worried and I started taking remedial steps for doing some SEO.
After doing everything, things have still not improved. And then I installed this wordpress plugin called robots "Robots Meta" which took me to my privacy settings and to my horror, I found that I had blocked all search engines from indexing my site!
Now that I have made the correction, I am hoping things will improve at a rapid pace
